At around 11:30 AM Northampton County Communication dispatched Palmer Township firefighters to 11 Mc Fadden Rd. National Plastics on a dumpster fire. Companies reported a working fire with heavy smoke showing and shortly upgraded the assignment to a commerical building fire. Heavy fire involved product and debris outside the building and spread to multiple trailers at the buildings loading dock and extended into the building. Multiple mutual aid departments from through-out Northampton county as well as companies from Lehigh and Bucks County responded to the blaze. A crash truck from Lehigh International Airport also responded to assist with foam. The fire took over 5 hours to control. Photos by: Adam Alberti
