At around 9:20 P.M. Central Office dispatched Engine 9/23/17/41/ L10 / Squad 2 / Chief 1 on a Box Alarm to Joseph Campau and East Warren on a dwelling fire. Ladder 10 arrived and reported a 2 flat going good extending to a second. Heavy fire was through-out the rear of the building and spread rapidly. Chief 1 requested an additional Engine and Truck to respond. Engine 35 and Ladder 20 were assigned. Companies were forced to go to a defensive operation due to the inegrity of the structure. Multiple handlines and Ladder 10's ladder pipe were used to extinguish the fire. The fire was under control within 1 hour.
