On April 1, 2008 Detroit firefighters responded to Livernois and Chippewa on a reported fire in an auto shop. Upon arrival Engine 51 stretched and reported heavy fire showing from a 1 story auto repair facility. Firefighters used several handlines to knock down the fire.
