DOVER, NJ GENERAL ALARM 105 ANN ST. AUGUST 2, 2008

On August 2, 2008 around 11:55 A.M. Dover, NJ fire fighters responded to a structure fire at 105 Ann St. Upon arrival heavy smoke was showing from a large 2.5 story wood frame victorian style dwelling. A general alarm was sounded and the Wharton fire department and Randolph fire department F.A.S.T. team was requested on mutual aid. The fire involved the A/B corner and soffit and was extending into the attic. Fire fighters made a quick knockdown and prevented the fire from spreading in the attic. The cause of the fire was possibly a lightening strike as a storm passed shortly before the fire. The Morris County Arson Squad and Dover Police Department are investigating the exact cause. The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported at the scene. Photos By: Adam Alberti
