Passaic, NJ 4th Alarm 177 Passaic St. December 16, 2008
An early morning fire raced through a meat packing facility at 177 Passaic St. in Passaic, NJ. Firefighters encountered heavy smoke on arrival and were withdrawn from the building as the fire escalated. Heavy fire conditions took hold of the building and firefighters had to use defensive tactics. The building suffered a severe collapse and had to be raised.
