South Orange, NJ 3rd Alarm 356 Redmond Road January 21, 2008
On January 21, 2008 South Orange, NJ firefighters responded to 356 Redmond Road on a reported house fire with possible occupants trapped. Upon arrival firefighters found heavy smoke showing from the large 2.5 story wood frame dwelling. An aggresive interior attack was deployed and firefighters knocked the bulk on the fire down within 30 minutes. The searches proved negative and it was later confirmed that the occupants were not home at the time of the fire. A dog unfortunately perished in the blaze.
