At around 10:00 A.M. on September 12, 2009 Budd Lake and Flanders firefighters responded to 11 Timberline Road on a reported house fire. Upon arrival companies found heavy smoke showing from the dwelling and a working fire in the basement. Mutual aid was summoned for a Rapid Intervention Team from Netcong, as well as Morris County Region 4 Tanker Task Force which brought tankers from Chester, Roxbury, Mount Arlington, Ralston, and Washington Twp to the scene. Two addtional engines were specail called by command from Washington Twp and Stanhope fire departments. Firefighter made an aggressive interior attack and knocked down the bulk of the fire within 25 minutes. The fire was completely under control within an hour. No injuries were reported at the scene. The Mount Olive Police Department and Morris County Prosecutors Office Arson Squad are investigating the cause of the fire. Photos By: Adam Alberti
