On April 27, 2009 Hackettstown firefighters responded to the True Value Hardware garage on Main St. for a reported fire. Upon arrival they found a working fire in the repair garage. A quick knock down was made by first arriving units. Mutual aid units from Mansfield, and Independance assisted. Washington Boro was the R.I.T unit.
