PATERSON, NJ GENERAL ALARM 369 HAMILTON AVE. MAY 27, 2009
Paterson, NJ firefighters battled a general alarm blaze at 369 Hamilton Ave near East 18th Avenue around 2:00 P.M. The fire involved a 2 story ordinary building 100x100 that housed school buses and a wood working shop. Heavy smoke was visible for miles. The fire raced through the building forcing firefighters to mount a defensive attack. Multiple explosions occurred and the buildings integrity was in questions. Firefighters set up collapse zones and kept all personnel away from the building. Multiple master streams and two aerials were used to extinguish the blaze. The fire took several hours to bring under control. The cause is currently under investigation. Photos By: Adam Alberti
