Mine Hill firefighters responded to a working house fire on 5th Ave. upon arrival Chief Jim Ayers found a fully involved 2.5 story wood frame dwelling. Mutual aid was immediately called from the Wharton and Dover Fire Departments to assist. A rapid intervention team from Randolph also responded. The fire was controlled within one hour.
