At around 0655 hours the Moonachie fire department responded to 6 East Sixth St in the Vanguard Mobile Home Park for a reported working house trailer fire with burn victim. Heavy smoke was visible from a distance. Upon arrival the cheif confirmed one trailer fully involved with exposure problems to adjacent trailers. A second alarm was sounded bringing mutual aid from Woodridge, Little Ferry, South Hackensack,and Carlstadt. The fire was knocked down quickly by several handlines. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
