Detroit firefighters responded to a dwelling fire at around 3 A.M. at 2782 Inglis St. Upon arrival they found a 1.5 story wood frame going through out. Chief 7 ordered companies to go to a defensive attack due to the volume of fire. Multiple handlines and a ladder pipe were used to extinguish the blaze. The building suffered a partial collapse. Responding companies Engine 29, 33, 10, Ladder 13, 22, Squad 4, Chief 7. The fire was controlled within an hour.
