At around 1700 hours Detroit firefighters in the 8th Battalion responded to 1987 W. Fort near Vermont for a fire in a commercial building. Upon arrival they found a fire in what was left of a vacant commercial building. Chief 8 held the full box assignment on scene to extinguish the fire which appeared to be mostly rubbish.
