At 0630 hours on Wednesday April 11, 2012 Paterson NJ firefighters responded to 359 McLean Blvd on a reported fire. Upon arrival they found a working fire in a 1 story ordinary 125x150 factory. A second alarm was transmitted on arrival followed shortly by a third alarm. Mutual aid companies from several towns responded to assist. Heavy fire conditions raced through the structure and through the roof. Firefighters encounted water supply problems due to some bad hydrants. McLean Boulevard also known as Route 20 was shut down in both directions during the blaze. Several firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling the blaze. The fire took about six hours to bring under control. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
